phyllis ann leePHYLLIS ANN LEE (Aloha Cowgirl) is THE SLIDE FACTOR's feature vocalist and songwriter. She has been performing on stage ever since her lead actress roles in High School drama class and as first chair flutist in award winning symphnonic band. Since 1985, as a business owner and entrepreneur, she toured the Pacific Northwest health club circuit as a master trainer, dance instructor and choreographer. Having met drslide in 2000 Phyllis picked up rhythm guitar and returned to song writing that she had begun when she was a little girl at her piano lessons. Phyllis's singing evokes heartfelt emotions and an instant rapport to the old-time country and Americana tunes she loves and her original songs sound like they could have been 40 year old favorites. In 2004 she performed with drslide at Bagley Wright Theatre and since 2005 THE SLIDE FACTOR has performed at retirement community socials, company picnics, and coffee houses throughout the Seattle area. Phyllis's songwriting talents are highlighted on THE SLIDE FACTOR's 2009 CD Keeping the Spirit Alive.
