Bluegrass Songs

  • Blue Subaru - PAL (Phyllis Ann Lee aka Aloha Cowgirl) wrote about her car that was the workhorse during the "Mom" years. How many of you know this story?
  • Cheyenne Special - DRSLIDE fast paced instrumental about their Chevy Cheyenne 1974 Camper Special pick-up truck. Sadly, this truck is now in the Chevy graveyard in the sky.
  • Dobro Breakdown - DRSLIDE created this peppy instrumental. He almost broke down trying to record it!
  • Boomchuck All Night Long - PAL had to get a word in edge-wise as a rhythm guitar player, hello!
  • Slide Factor - PAL wrote this song for DRSLIDE, he needed something for his 30 years of dobro performing!
  • Americana Steel

  • Circles Under My Eyes - PAL relfects on a sad tale of how love can be blind sometimes. DRSLIDE adds the high, lonesome steel voice of his lap steel to make you really cry-in-your-beer. We got a nice critique from TAXI on this one.
  • Americana Folk

  • Lullaby on the Back Road - PAL penned this song after they returned to Redmond via an alternate route from Spokane, WA. Get in the rocking chair for this one.
  • I've Been Thinkin' - PAL came up with this humorous relationship story. Have you been there with your partner?
  • Tropical Island Folk

  • Coconut Tree Swing - PAL and DRSLIDE collaborated on this song after returning from Hawaii. Look out for those coconuts!
  • Lavaloha - PAL put two words together Lava and Aloha and this song was born. It's a Sing-along.
  • Icicle Creek - DRSLIDE wrote this calypso like instrumental after attending a concert at Icicle Creek Performance Center in Leavenworth, WA. Though driving home, he got pulled over by the fuzz and had to answer questions all the while keeping this song in his head until he got home. Ooops. Though the song sure came out nice. It is also recorded on Resophonics Anonymous CD.
